Now Hiring: Engagement Manager

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Engagement Manager is responsible for the overall management of customer engagements at Marque360. The Engagement Manager works as a team member along with the Sr Solutions Architects, Solution Architects, Quality Manager, Developers and Technicians to deliver the complete solution for the customer.

The primary objective of the Engagement Manager is to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget and that resources are fully utilized (75% utilization level) at all times.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the planning and implementation of projects
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
  • Develop and maintain project schedules (project tasks and resource requirements) using Microsoft Project, Project Online and Microsoft Teams
  • Assemble and coordinate project staff
  • Manage project budget
  • Manage project resource allocation
  • Provide direction and support to project team
  • Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders (customer and Marque360)
  • Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
  • Project evaluations and assessment of results
  • Manage communication with customers
    • Weekly Project Status Reports to Customers
    • Distribution of Meeting Minutes
  • Review and approve resource timesheets as per project activities
  • Manage Issues/risks associated with customer engagement and alert Marque360 management team for corrective action
  • Identify and raise project change requests where needed
  • Identify new revenue opportunities with existing customers
  • Participate in internal projects as required

 

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in Project Management, experience with SharePoint, Microsoft Project, Project Online and Microsoft Teams and comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base. Candidate must be organized and analytical, adept at working in a team environment, able to design and implement a project schedule, and able to handle multiple priorities and possess excellent time management skills. Additional preferred qualifications are:

  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel to client locations (up to 50%)
  • Ability to understand the business requirements and ensuring that the project team implements them in accordance with SOW language
  • Knowledge in web-based systems architecture, service-based architecture, enterprise
  • Must demonstrate good judgment and pragmatic approach to delivering projects across company needs and business constraints
  • Should have participated in, and be familiar with, Waterfall (PMBOK) and Agile (Scrum) project methodology and practices
  • Must maintain professional knowledge and relationships with the Microsoft ecosystem
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in professional services, sales or customer support operations
  • 3-5 years of SharePoint, Microsoft Project, Project Online, Office and Microsoft Teams
