We are excited to announce an upcoming Planner (Formerly Project for the Web) Virtual Training Course designed to help you master the essential tools for managing your projects efficiently!  This session is perfect for anyone looking to enhance their project management skills using Planner. You’ll learn hands-on techniques to effectively manage tasks, resources, and portfolios within the platform.

Agenda

  1.  What is Planner/Project for the Web (PFTW) what has changed
  2. Orientation
  3. Create new Project
  4. Working with the Schedule:
    • Create and Modify Tasks
    • Create and change Columns/ Custom Task Columns
    • Working with Dependencies
    • Task Monitoring
    • Filters, Critical Path, Baselines
  5. Viewing and working with Project in Teams, Team Member updating Tasks
  6. Resource Assignment- Add Resources to a Project Team, Assign Resources to a project team, Assign resources to tasks
  7. Portfolios: Create a portfolio and assign projects to a portfolio.
